The wallet’s hurting extra these days. (I will not make the obligatory egg joke, although it would go over easy.) And for most Chicagoans, Tax Day offers little relief. Still, it’s not too late to finesse some deals. Check out these Tax Day restaurant bargains.

This $22 “IRS Express” prix-fixe lunch includes three courses: a salad or soup, followed by your choice of sandwich — prime rib, blackened mahi, or crispy chicken — and, for dessert, a mini crème brulée or mini tiramisu.

The Getaway, Lincoln Square

Catch happy hour from 4-6 p.m. plus $8 beer-shot combos all night.

The Graystone Tavern, Wrigleyville

Cheeseburgers, Stateside Seltzers and American Lights are all just $4.15 each.

Lottie’s Pub, Bucktown

Lottie’s is making you work for that refund. Patrons can play trivia to pay for their tab — first place gets 100% covered, second place gets 50% and third place gets, you guessed it, a 25% refund.

aliveOne, Lincoln Park

A half-price happy hour from 5-7 p.m. will be followed by free music bingo at 8 p.m. Plus, you can grab $4 Old Style tallboys and $4 drafts all night.

A special “Income Tax” cocktail is $10, plus there’s Central Park’s standard half-off happy hour from 4-7 p.m. and $9.50 beer-shot combos all night.

The 1040 EZ Menu at Cody’s Public House includes several

beer-shot combos for $10.40: Guinness and Tullamore D.E.W., Old Style and Malort, Modelo and Dobel, and Schlitz and Jim Beam.

Estelles, Wicker Park

Deductions at Estelle’s include a half-price happy hour from 4-6 p.m. plus $8 quesadillas, $6 Seltzers and $6 Tito's drinks all night.

Stan’s Donuts, Rosemont, Oak Brook Terrace, and Orland Park

Stan’s Donuts drive-thrus in Rosemont, Oak Brook Terrace, and Orland Park are offering BOGO drinks from 7-8 p.m.

Kona Grill, Oak Brook

Kona Grill is offering $10.40 margaritas and signature cocktails. Get it? Get it?

Paris Baguette

The bakery chain is offering a free pastry with any beverage on April 15.

Nationally, Burger King, 7-Eleven, and Hooters also offer Tax Day deals through their apps.
