Want to eat well without breaking the bank in 2025? Bookmark this list of Chicagoland restaurants where kids can eat free.

Honeybear Cafe in Rogers Park

Order an adult entree at the Far North Side cafe, and children 12 and under can get items like chocolate chip pancakes and waffle pops off the kids menu for free any day of the week.

Chicago’s Home of Chicken & Waffles in Bronzeville, Oak Park

Make Wednesday soul food night: When you dine in at the restaurants on the South Side or west suburb mid-week, you can get one free kids meal for children 10 and under with every adult meal that is $18 or more.

Fogo de Chão in River North, Rosemont, Oak Brook, Naperville

While adults feast on all-you-can-eat meat at the Brazilian steakhouse downtown and in the suburbs, kids under age 6 can eat for free and kids ages 7–12 for half-price.

Community Tavern in Portage Park

When you eat oysters, lump crab carbonara, or a Vietnamese crepe for $16 or more at the Northwest Side spot, kids 12 and under can eat burgers or stir fry for free Tuesday through Thursday and on Sunday.

Avocado Theory in Tinley Park

Get an adult entree like avocado vegan chorizo tacos or avocado shrimp fettuccine alfredo, and kids 12 and under can eat free Wednesday at the avocado-based restaurant in the south suburb.
