Is Chicago Actually The Pumpkin Spice Capital?

00:00:00

‘Tis the season for pumpkin spice — here are the fall-themed specials you can enjoy around town.

The Portuguese bakery in McKinley Park has fall specials like caramel apple oat milk lattes and caramel apple chai lattes. FWIW, we think the pasteis de nata, or custard tarts, are year-round treats.

Try a sweet potato latte, a maple cinnamon latte, or lavender London Fog at the Tri-Taylor coffee shop 🤤

The Lakeview coffee shop is known for its rotating seasonal menu, and this one inspired by the 1998 film “Practical Magic” doesn’t disappoint. The drinks feature fall flavors like salted honey butter, cinnamon powder, and pumpkin pie sauce.

After you slurp down your caramel apple cider or apple pie latte, get your pet a pup cup! Sip and Savor has locations in Bronzeville, South Loop, Edgewater, and more.

The Mexican coffee shop in Avondale has specials like a pumpkin spice horchata and café de olla (traditional Mexican coffee with cinnamon).

Wash down an apple cider or pumpkin old-fashioned doughnut with an iced pumpkin matcha latte or an ube lemonade at shops across the city.

We’ll keep you posted about any fall-themed cocktails we see coming up!
